Asantehene to celebrate gold coin today for his massive contribution to peace in the west African nation.
Otumfuo Osei Tutu ll will be inaugurating 24-Carat solemnize gold coins today Sunday 12, December 2021, to honour 22 years of contributing to the development, stability and peace of Ghana.
The celebration of the gold coins is under the authorization of Central Bank, the Bank of Ghana, for Gold Coast Refinery Limited to solemnize Asantehene.
Is the first time in history Asante kingdom is celebrating the inaugurating of a gold coins meant to honour the people, event and institutions.
As today marks the end of the Akwasidae festival, the celebration of the gold coins will be held at the Menhyia palace in Kumasi.

The gold coins transaction will be used to initiate multi purpose Cultural Resources centre related to traditional and customary in Ghana.
The coins made of 99.99 percent of 24 carat gold, 37mm diamond and weight 31.104 grammes each. The organizers described it as the “treasured collectors article”.
The image of the gold coins is the face of the Asantehene, with the symbols of Adinkra ‘Bi Nka Bi and Mpatapo’ which also symbolize harmony, peace and reconciliation.
The organizers said, The reverse bears the an image of the Golden Stool (Sika Dwa).
Apostle Francis Amoako Atta of the Parliament Chapel International , speaking on Angel Tv said, the celebration of the gold coins has some spiritual connotations as he give reference with the Bible, and drew some similarities between the commemorative gold and wealth of biblical king Solomon.

He also lamented that, “On 12th December, something wonderful will happen in Asanteman when Otumfuo is going to be honoured.. The same 12th December is God’s day. Heaven will meet to discuss the next generation”.
It shows that Otumfuo is an opinion leaders who are spiritually enlightened and intellectual.
He explained further on the spirituality of the gold coins that, “In the spiritual realm, it means the mystery of 999 Gold Coins completion of a cycle and the beginning of a new age. It means in the year 2022, Asante Kingdom is going to step into another height.
It means the dawn of a new era, so anybody who will get the opportunity to purchase or hold the coins will be blessed because the coins represent another Kingdom.”
