Will Ole To Chelsea Happen? As It Tops Twitter Trends After Tuchel Sack

Chelsea Football Club have parted company with Thomas Tuchel and ‘Ole to Chelsea’ has topped Twitter trends with fans reacting massively.

Just some few hours ago, the Blues via the club website announced that it has parted ways with Tuchel who played his 100th game last night in the Champions League.

Tuchel side lost in their first Champions League campaign opener against Dinamo Zagreb on Tuesday night and he lost his job on Wednesday morning.

The statement read, “On behalf of everyone at Chelsea FC, the Club would like to place on record its gratitude to Thomas and his staff for all their efforts during their time with the Club. Thomas will rightly have a place in Chelsea’s history after winning the Champions League, the Super Cup and Club World Cup in his time here.

As the new ownership group reaches 100 days since taking over the Club, and as it continues its hard work to take the club forward, the new owners believe it is the right time to make this transition. 

Chelsea’s coaching staff will take charge of the team for training and the preparation of our upcoming matches as the Club moves swiftly to appoint a new head coach. 

There will be no further comment until a new head coach appointment is made.”

Following this, some coaches have been linked with Chelsea managerial job after Tuchel sacking. The likes Zidane, Poch, Graham Potter, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all been rumored to have being contacted by Chelsea new owner, Tod Boehly.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been out of job since Manchester United sacked him after he spent three years at the club.

According to an unconfirmed rumour, Chelsea are considering Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as a possible replacement for Thomas Tuchel. Todd Boehly was impressed with Ole’s rebuild during his tenure at Manchester United. Direct contacts expected to happen this week.
