omicron

At the present time, Omicron is the most dominant Covid-19 variant in the UK and has been developing a range of symptoms that haven’t been seen in earlier waves.

Although, for the Delta variant and for those that came before it, were easier to recognise symptoms including a new and continuous cough, a fever and a loss of taste or smell.

Omicron has shown beyond doubt in far better. It’s been found to mix in with symptoms of seasonal sickness from the flu and cold, to a filthy winter disease.

It also comes with new worry’s. Fears still remain about its high transmission rate and it’s potential to avoid the first two vaccines dose for many.

The US-based Centre for Disease Control or the CDC, said that people with covid can have a “wide range of symptoms”.

In actuality, this wide range could be everything from a slightly blocked nose to breath, such difficulties require immediate medical attention.

Such symptoms may be a little different from one another to others and also depends around your activities in the lavatory.

The CDC said, when you find out that you have diarrhoea when you visit a bathroom, could also be a sign that you’ve caught Omicron.

Diarrhoea hasn’t been the only symptoms with others such as breathing trouble, fatigue, body and muscle aches, a headache or sore throat also common symptoms.

Many medical conditions feature diarrhoea as a symptom, while reports had said it’s not necessarily a symptom of Covid.

The CDC listed these symptoms as those related with Omicron:

Fever or chills, Cough, Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
Fatigue,Muscle or body aches and Headache. New loss taste or smell, Sore throat, Congestion or runny nose, Nausea or vomiting and Diarrhoea.

“Get a PCR test (test that is sent to a lab) to check if you have COVID-19 as soon as possible”, advised the NHS.

“Stay at home and do not have visitors (self-isolate) until you get your test result – only leave your home to have a test. Check if people you live with need to self-isolate”.

The National Health Service of UK (NHS) notified that, from Tuesday, 11th January 2022, people without the symptoms will no longer have to get a PCR test and can go for lateral flow test.

It seems that the Omicron can be caught by people who have already recovered, reported the Express.

“Self-isolate even if you’ve had a positive test result for COVID-19 before. You probably have some immunity to the virus but it’s not clear how long it lasts”, said the UKHSA.
