Virgil Abloh, a creative fashion designer known for styling stars like Kid Cudi and Kanye West, has died after a private struggle with cancer. He died aged 41.
Virgil’s death was reported in a tweet by LVMH, a mother company of Louis Vuitton, where he had been the creative director of the brand’s menswear collection since 2018.
Bernard Arnault, LVMH’s CEO said in a statement, ” We are shocked after this terrible news. Virgil was not only a genius designer, a visionary, he was also a man with a beautiful soul and a great wisdom”.

According to the statement Virgil had been privately struggling cancer for the last several years.
He was also the Chief Executive Officer of the Milan-based label of Off-White.
