The US State of Wisconsin America, five people killed and several injured after a red SUV Vehicle ploughed through a Christmas parade.

According to reports by the CBS NEWS, School bands and a dance troupe of Grannies were among those matching through the city of Waukesha in the State of Wisconsin.

When a red SUV Vehicles came speeding down through the same road where the Christmas parade was taking place.

And started mowing people down killing five and injuring over 40 people, including children and elderly people.

One person who believed to be the driver of Vehicle was arrested, and the police intial report indicated that, the incident is not Terrorist related.

In some reports the man in caution appeared to have been fleeing from a scene of a knife attack, when he ran into the parade that resulted into the lost of lives and injuring several others, with some of them life threatening injuries.

One local resident told the MILWAUKEE JOURNAL SENTINEL NEWS PAPER, ” He had just finished the parade when he saw the SUV put the pedal to the metal and just started zooming in full speed along the parade route at about 16:40 US time”.

Waukesha is a community of about 72,000 population in the west of Milwaukee.

They traditionally held Christmas parade every year on a Sunday, before the celebrations of Thanksgiving. They include fancy dressing, floats, dancing and matching bands. through a designated city centre routes.

Some videos shared on social media platforms, showed the moment the SUV crashing at high speed through streets barriers and into the paraded crowd killing five, and injuring several including children.

In one of the video captured showed, how the Vehicle missed a lucky cheerful young girl, who was cheering some onlookers with her back facing the the road.
