Nigeria a very wicked woman burned her Stepson’s buttock with electric iron in the Kogi State, Nigeria.
The Kogi State Authorities has arrested Elizabeth Abu, a very wicked woman for burning her stepson’s buttock with a hot electric iron.
Hajia Fatima Kabir Buba, The Kogi State Commissioner for Women Affair and Social Development, confirmed the incident occurred Tuesday morning.
The victim David Matthew Ewongolu was maltreated by his step mother for taking part of her material to construct a duster.
Hajia Fatima Kabir, who condemn the action of the very wicked woman, claimed the suspect confessed to the crime following thoroughly interrogation by her ministry, claiming ” she did not intend to inflict such pain on the boy.”
She added that, the boy is currently on a treatment at the Kogi State Specialist Hospital Lokoja.
“The Ministry of Women Affairs will continue to collaborate with the Nigeria Police, alongside it’s legal team to get justice for the abused victim.
“This is pure wickedness, how can a woman burn her fellow human being with hot electric iron. Even though the boy is not her biological son, that does not give her that right to display such wickedness on the boy.”
“We will follow this case to a logical conclusion and ensure we will get justice for the young David Matthew Ewongolu in the court of law. The law of the land must take it’s course,” she added.
The Commissioner, assured that the Governor Yahaya -Bello led administration has zero tolerance for child abuse, stressing that, guardian and parents must take great care of their child to become responsible citizens in the society.
