Two Men Arrested for Allegedly Defiling 11month -old Baby In Anambra Nigeria.

Peter Ezeala 61 and Elochukwu Iguilo 27, suspected to have defiled 11 month old baby and three other minors, have been arrested by the police of Umudim Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra state in Nigeria.

The state police Spokesman, DSP Ikenga Tochi disclosed the displeasured new in a statement on Monday, March 21,2022.

D.S.P Ikenga Tochi state that,
“The Commissioner of Police CP Echeng today 21/3/2022 has admonished parents/guardian to be careful of who they leave the custody of their children/ward, following the outcome of the investigation of 4 children rescued by police operative on a reported case of defilement in Umudim, Nnewi.”

“Two Men were Arrested for Allegedly Defiling 11month -old Baby In Anambra State Nigeria.”

The Anambra State Police command operatives swung into action and arrested the alleged two suspects, Peter Ezeala aged 61 from Mbano, Imo State and Mr Elochukwu Igwilo aged 27, from Ekwusigo LGA Anambra State.”

According to investigation, the victims mother who is a trader, had always left her children under the care of the suspects whenever she is away for work. Unfortunately, the suspects capitalized on this to take advantage of the vulnerable innocent children.

The Two suspect have been remanded in a correctional services centre as the case was adjourned to allow the prosecution service to carry on further investigation, so that appropriate sentences can be handed to the evil individual, who committed this heinous crime against a 11 year old child.
