Ansu Fati Signs For Brighton.

Ansu Fati has completed a long-term season loan move to Premier League side Brighton from Barcelona.

Ansu Fati, born in Guinea-Bissau but now a citizen of Spain and was even part of their squad during the 2022 World Cup.

The 20 years old Fati who signed a contract with Barcelona in 2021 is now on a long-term season loan move to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Fati’s move has created a space for Barcelona to sign Manchester City’s full-back Joao Cancelo on loan.

Brighton’s deal does not include and option to buy the 20 years old forward spanish professional footballer.

Earlier on Tottenham has been in talk with Fati but he did not make a move but accepted the move

offered by Brighton due to their style of play under Robert de Zarbi.

De Zerbi said: “This is a great deal for all of us.

I am sure Ansu will help us to reach a new target and we can help him get back to the level he deserves to be.”

Brighton will be playing European football this season for the first time qualifying for the Europa League.

Anssumane Fati Vieira (born 31 October 2002) is a Spanish professional footballer who plays as a forward for Premier League club Brighton & Hove Albion, on loan from La Liga club Barcelona. Born in Guinea-Bissau, he represents the Spain national team.

Brighton & Hove Albion will be playing against AFC Ajax, Marseille and AEK Athens in the group stage.

Both Technical director and Manager of Brighton sees the move to be a success as Fati is a highly-rated young players in the world.

“He is one of the most highly-rated young players in the world and arrives with an impressive amount of experience

both domestically and in European competition, despite his age. David Weir, Brighton’s Technical director added.

“This season is the biggest in the club’s history and we’re really happy that a player of Ansu’s quality is going to be part of it.

“We will give him the opportunity to embed himself in the squad and to get used to working with Roberto,

but naturally we’re excited to see him in a Brighton shirt.”
