“The Red Devils” goalkeeper, Andre Onana has explained he shouted at Harry Maguire because he demands more from the English centre-back.
International goalkeeper, Onana who has completed a £48 million ($62m) transfer to Old trafford during the summer transfer window,
has showed he will bring more to Erik Ten Hag’s team contributing to his style of play.
The 27-year-old Cameroon keeper, who was a substistute for the 3-2 Borrusia Dortmund defeat, coming on at half-time and replacing Tom Heaton.
Andre Onana was spotted screaming at Maguire with the back line opening up far too easily after a one-on-one save against Sebastian Haller.
He sprinted a good seven yards to give him a piece of his mind and making no apologies for getting on the case of those
in front of him even if they have been at the club considerably longer than he has.
Onana shouted at Maguire
“I demand a lot of my team-mates because also they demand alot, they trust in me. They play alot of balls back to me,
so i have to give them confidence and i want my players to give them to me to give me confidence.
I demand from them alot and I will demand from them a lot because they are great players. Now for me, It’s a big honour to play with these defenders.
With Lisandro Martinez, Harry they are doing great things. They are important players for the club.
I’m very happy to be part of this team and playing with them is something great”. Onana told MUTV
Manchester United have now completed their pre-season tour in the USA
