Huge Disturbances Among Some Gangs In Nima Accra

A massive, massive suspects hunting is ongoing, in Nima and Mamobi a suburb of Accra, as rivals gangs has briefly turned the main Street that divides the two community Mamobi and Nima into a lawless neighborhood.

Unconfirmed reports, three people has lost their lives and several life threatening injuries, some of them believed to be just bystanders, that got nothing to do with the violence.

In brief Police statement, on the violence.

” The Police contained Nima violence, the police strongly intervened in the Nima violence and brought the situation under control. Meanwhile, the suspected criminals are being pursued to face justice.”

Some videos shared on social media platforms, shows the grimmed realty of the aftermath of the senseless attacks between the two rivals gangs. Some of the injuries sustained is too graphic and real life threatened, we can’t share on this news platform.

Gun shots could be heard, in some of the videos shared on social media platforms, shots been fired at a point blank range, someone been attacked and slashed with machetes helplessly on the street of Accra Ghana, total anarchy.

This surely reminder me to a scene in the movie “Hotel Rwanda”. A movie that throw light into what really happened during the genocide in Rwanda. So bad to see these kind of barbarics acts in the street of today’s Ghana.

Hope with the help of Ghana Police Service and the good people of Ghana the criminals will be capture and brought to justice, to face the full force of the laws.
