Preparation
The event’s organizer, as well as Live Hub Entertainment, director Jeffrey Engmann, stated in an interview with the Daily Graphic that planning was nearing completion.
“We are running through our routine security checks at the stadium and wrapping up on ticket sales. The stage team from Rave, our production partners led by Ruddy Kwakye, have arrived safely and have hit the ground running,” he pointed out.
Furthermore, Mr. Engmann added, “Our stage is bigger and better than anything that has ever been experienced on Ghanaian soil, and we honestly cannot wait for the audience to experience our 360-stage setup. We’ve also confirmed a super special surprise international act.”
When asked why Wizkid was selected for this performance, Mr. Engmann responded that it was because of a number of his unique talents.
“He is a celebrated African artiste doing great things on the continent and abroad, and at a special place in his career where he has the world’s eyes on him.
“Wizkid is very much loved in Ghana and the timing of this concert will give the audience a chance to soak in the new sounds of his new album called More Love, Less Ego,” he emphasized.
