Esther Afrifa, an extremely jealous Ghanaian woman who lived in the United Kingdom UK, Has been handed a 14 years prison sentence for pouring acid on her then Boyfriend Kelvin Poko.
Esther Afrifa claimed to have carried out the heinous crime, because she believed that her Boyfriend Kelvin Poko was haven an affairs with another woman.
A claimed that later turned out to be false.
According to the police investigations, Esther Afrifa bought a litre of Sulphuric acid online,
She executed the vile act at around 3:30 am, on December 22, 2019. While her then Boyfriend Kelvin Poko was fast asleep.
And then preventing him seeking medical attention.

STOPPING HIM SEEKING MEDICAL ATTENTION
According to the Boyfriend, he initially didn’t know who committed the heinous acts, so he asked Esther to dial 999 for emergency, but she refused to do so by pretending she did, before forcefully stopping another friend calling 999. She even went further and cancelled a taxi which was supposed to take him to the hospital
ADDING SALT TO AN INJURED
Esther Afrifa then makes matters worse by pouring more acid on the already wounded Kelvin while he was lying on the couch waiting for medical attention.
But he managed to run out of their flat at Wembley London screaming before a neighbour managed to get him medical attention.
Kelvin Poko also told the court, she try given him more acid to drink as tap water but he refused.
Sentencing the extremely wicked lady, Judge Charles Bourne QC called it “a truly wicked thing to do” .
Detective Constable Tom Dawood, the investigating officer said, ” I’ll like to commend colleagues from the London Ambulance and the fire service, who attended to the scene quickly and provided the vital medical attention, which undoubtedly reduced the severity of the injuries he suffered “.

She was sentenced to 14 years in prison, and will be likely deported after serving her prison terms, under the Home Office Foreign offenders act.
Kelvin Poko is now left with permanent scars on his face.
