The English professional footballer finally moved out of Chelsea this summer as he completed a permanent move to Nottingham Forest.

Odoi made 126 appearances at Chelsea and decided to leave because he realized his opportunities for game time were likely limited.

Due to poor form and injuries, Hudson-Odoi had a difficult time playing.

The 22-year old aimed to improve much better and rediscover his form at Nottingham Forest.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Callum Hudson-Odoi says it was a difficult choice to make to leave Chelsea FC.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is an English professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or left winger for Premier League club Nottingham Forest.

“Chelsea has been my home for a very long time and knowing it was time to go was emotional. It was difficult,

we had conversations but I thought it was best if I leave. It was a mutual agreement, but I’d say it was more my decision”

He also added that “Forest is the right place for me to excel in my football, and do more than I probably could at Chelsea. I want to be playing as much as possible”.

Despite the the number of clubs existing, Odoi made a straight decision to Nottingham Forest as soon as the call came

“There were a lot of different places I could have ended up at, but once ‘Coops’ made the call my head was straight here. He definitely brought the best out of me with England.

The big thing about him is how he understands players, on and off the pitch. He’s always making sure that you’re mentally right and comfortable, and free in what you do.”

Odoi is likely to be fixed in the match between Nottingham Forest and Burnley on Monday.
