Hearts of Oak Recalls Ansah Botchway Back To Training

Accra-based club, Accra Hearts of Oak have changed their decision to offload midfielder, Frederick Ansah Botchway ahead of the new season.

Hearts of Oak last month announced that it was parting ways with the former Liberty Professionals player.

However, after some few meetings and dragging, the club has rescinded it’s decision to terminate the 25-year-old midfielder’s contract.

This was after some section of Hearts of Oak supporters criticized the board members of the club over their decision to offload Botchway.

According to them, Botchway has been exceptional midfielder fro the club since arriving from Liberty Professionals the previous season.

Znewsgh.com have gathered Ansah Botchway has reported back to training as FA Cup champions prepare themselves ahead of the GHALCA top six on Sunday as they face Medeama SC in the opening fixture.

The 24-year-old has won the hearts of the supporters having had his name only on the lips of fans and former players of the club without the mention of other players who were sent away.

Kofi Kordzi, Sumaila Ibrahim Larry, Abdul Manaf Grumah, just mention some few, were, before the team commenced their preseason, part of the eight names who were considered as surplus to requirements.

However, Frederick Ansah Botchway’s return will mean good to the development of the team into a formidable size for local and continental games as they prepare for the 2022/23 CAF Confederations Cup.
