M N RidwanAccording to reports, Chelsea has offered more than £106 million to Benfica for Enzo Fernandez, the star of Argentina’s World Cup team.
Meanwhile, Manchester United has also been mentioned in relation to the midfielder.
Portugal’s Correio de Manha says that Chelsea representatives have arrived in Lisbon to discuss the conditions of a potential transfer and that Chelsea’s offer exceeds Fernandez’s existing release clause of €120 million.
As it stands now, the Blues are in a strong position to recruit one of Europe’s hottest players, who had a standout World Cup in Qatar, thanks to their current offer.
