Barcelona Reached Personal Terms With Joao Cancelo.

Barcelona reaching terms to sign Joao Cancelo for this season, the exit of Ousmane Dembele might free up some funds to sign him.

Barcelona’s manager Xavi Hernadez confirmed on Tuesday the club’s right back was their priority for the rest of the transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano claims that the club and Manchester’s defender Joao have reached personal terms.

In January when City no longer wanted Cancelo,

he was linked to Barcelona and close to joining the club but couldn’t make the finances work.

Joao Cancelo went on loan to Bayern Munich

and Kounde played the right-back for the rest of the season which worked out well.

The terms previously reached out were a €10m loan fee for Barcelona, a €40m option to buy, plus Cancelo’s full salary.

Kounde appears to be a good centre-back who does well and make a solid right-back. Joao Cancelo on the other hand is an ultimate option for the position.

Cancelo isn’t just an ultimate option, he is also a good creator with good passes. In addition he is someone who can cut inside and make things happen from one position to the other

While several board members, including new director Deco, have been pushing for Ivan Fresneda’s signing,

Xavi has been hard on Cancelo’s signing.

It has been reported previously that Barça would wish to sign Cancelo on a loan deal with a permanent purchase option.
