SWAG expressed optimism that Mr. Adams, with his extensive experience in governance and leadership, will bring significant change to the sports sector in Ghana.
In a statement issued on his first day in office, SWAG highlighted the importance of Mr. Adams’ appointment, recognizing his capacity to manage both governance and sporting affairs.
They believe that he is well-equipped to address the challenges facing Ghanaian sports and will be instrumental in ensuring all sporting disciplines receive equal attention, particularly beyond football.

SWAG also commended Mr. Adams for his focus on expanding the sporting landscape, particularly in schools and the security services sector.
The association emphasized the importance of revitalizing inter-school competitions and rejuvenating the Security Services Sports Association (SESSA) Games to build a more diverse sporting culture in the country.
