SHOCKING! Player D!es After Collapsing During Match

Moustapha Sylla, a defender for the Ivorian team RCA, passed away on Sunday after passing out during a game.

To that effect, The team issued a statement expressing its sympathies to the player’s family iterating:

“Our defender Moustapha Sylla died this evening after feeling unwell on the pitch during the RCA vs Sol FC match.” 

“During his evacuation to the hospital, Moustapha passed away. He arrived at the club last September and was only 21 years old,” Logossina Cisse, the club President, told AFP.

Racing d’Abidjan(RCA) has a partnership with OGC Nice and has been competing in the Ivorian first division since the 2018–19 season.

It won the Côte d’Ivoire title in 2020 and is currently ranked seventh overall.
