Former Ghana Black Stars Midfielder, Odartey Lamptey, who divorce his unfaithful ex wife Gloria Appiah has finally won his court case against Miss Gloria, after a long legal battle on his hard earning 7 Bedroom House at East Legon Accra.
Which he said he acquired the 7 bedroom house at a cost of 100.000 Us Dollars, between year 1998 and 1999, while playing in Germany as a professional footballer.
Odartey who was forced into renting a place to live for almost nine years after a messy well published divorce, has finally gained access to his much deserved house. In 2017 Gloria failed to vacate the property after a divorce settlement, when a Court in Accra ordered her to do so.
She opted for an Appeal Court hoping to overturn the first court ruling, but on March 2, this year, the Appeal Court ruled in favour of the Ex Ghana and Anderlecht FC Star, and she was finally given a month notice to kiss and vacate the 7 Bedroom House and return the keys to his bonified owner her Ex husband.
Odartey who had the last laugh, confirmed in an interview in Peace FM Accra,
“I got a call from my lawyer with about two hours to Ghana Nigeria game, and he said the one month notice given to her (Gloria) is up, after the ruling on 2 March this year. So I can go to for my keys, I was extremely happy after mine years long Court battle, I have gotten my house.”
He continued, ” so quickly I organized the boys and go there. But for myself I’ll move in this week.” He narrated.
Nii Odartey Lamptey the former Ghana international is now happily married, with three beautiful young family, that he claimed brings Joyce and happiness to his daily life.
After 2013 messy messy divorce that was well documented in the media , a DNA results that revealed none of his then children with Gloria Appiah was never in million years his biological children, even mathematically impossible. and again he have to wait for almost a decade, yes almost teen good years before gaining access to the very home he bought off his hard earning cash.
