New York, Brooklyn Subway train Shootings that claimed many life and injured several people. Frank R James 62, who was named as the “person of interest” has now been arrested, and now in New York Police custody according to the City Authority.
The initial report was the Man Identified as Frank R James, was a person of interest,and he might witness the shooting according to the City Authority initial report. although they have not determine how he might have been involved in the rush- hour attack.
A report in New York Times, claimed the sister of the alleged shooting carnage which is now claimed to be the suspect, Frank R James, says her brother James has been a loner all his entire life.
The shooting which took place at about 8:24 on Tuesday, on the second carriage of a Manhattan- bound subway train between 51th street and 36th street station.
According to New York Police Commissioner, Keechant Sewell, the gun men wore a surgical mask and a construction vest, and set off two smoke canister and fired 33 times, 10 of them was fatal, seven men and three women were killed 13 other people were injured.
According to some eye witness, Sam Carcamo, told radio station 1010 Wins: my subway door opened into calamity.
“It was smoke and blood and people screaming. There was a lot of louds pops, and there was smoke in the other car, and people were trying to get in and they couldn’t, they were pounding on the door to get into our car.”
Major Eric Adams said: killers are using weapon of mass destruction to kill innocent people and pleaded for the end of gun violence. “Ending gun violence means changing gun laws. We cannot clean up a flood when water is still pouring into the basement”
He added that, We cannot stop until the peace we deserved becomes the reality we experience.
Frank R James, in February posted a video ” Government plan to address homeless and safely in the city’s subway system was ” doomed for failure.”
Ms Sewell described the videos as “concerning” as he referred to himself as a “victim” of the Mayor’s mental health programe and criticised Mr Adams’s plan to end gun violence.
Security of Mr Has been tightened since the incident. New York City Security Agencies, have announced a joint $50,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the suspect.
As the suspect now behind bars, under the eyeful watch of the New York City Authorities.
Now New Yorkers and Subway users can go about their daily businesses with less concern.
