Ghana Black Stars HIT with controversial CAF decision for Ethiopia game

The Ghana Black Stars, World Cup qualifier match against the Ethiopia national team, that was initially scheduled to be played in Kenya, Nyayo National Stadium next month, has been controversially changed to South Africa’s Orlando Stadium.

The match was scheduled to be played in Kenya, Nyayo National Stadium next month, but following the ban on the Ethiopian Bahir Dar National Stadium , for failing to meet CAF Club Licensing requirement.

For the reason mentioned above, the Ethiopian football association requested, their world cup qualifier against Ghana be played in Kenya’s Nyayo National Stadium.

But for a reason that can be best describe as WEIRD, and far from a FAIR PLAY, the match venue has been swiftly change from Kenya’s Nyayo National Stadium, to Ghana’s current World cup rivals South Africa.

With South Africa sitting top of group G, with just one point between them and Ghana, this controversial move by the Confederation of African Football “CAF” , can be best describe as a little helping hand for the Bafana Bafana of South Africa.

Which means Ghana Black Stars will need to dig deep, and overcome two quick successions travels to and from the South Africa, twice to face the South African supporters in two different circumstances.

In what principles the Confederation of African Football “CAF” , based their decision to grant the Ethiopian FA, the green light to play their game with Ghana at the Orlando Stadium in South Africa, is yet to be confirm, bearing in mind Ghana and South are wrestling for the same spot .
