Ghana Defeats Sudan To Increase Its Prospects of Moving On To The Quarterfinals

In order to increase their prospects of reaching the quarterfinals of the 2022 Championship of African Nations, the Black Galaxies of Ghana defeated Sudan 3-1.

Al Gozoli Nooh’s close-range goal after 32 minutes of play in the second Group C match of the ongoing competition in Algeria gave Sudan the lead and completed a well-executed team effort.

As a result, Sudan gained ground, and Ghana had a long way to go to catch up.

Despite the loss, Ghana showed amazing tenacity and was able to tie the game just before halftime when defender Konadu Yiadom scored.

The Black Galaxies, who were keen to grab the lead in the second half, received a big boost from this.

Following the half time, the game turned into a nail-biting contest as both sides competed for the victory.

Goals were disallowed for both Ghana and Sudan, but Ghana ultimately won. They won 3-1 at the final whistle after scoring twice through Daniel Afriyie Barnieh and Suraj Seidu.

Ghana’s victory was a major success, and it puts them in a good position to advance to the CHAN 2022 tournament’s knockout round.

As a result of head-to-head competition, Madagascar now leads the group with three points, and the Black Galaxies are tied with them with three points.

Their chances of making the playoffs will depend on the outcome of the last group match between Sudan and Madagascar.
