ZAMFARA NIGERIA A 14-YEAR-OLD RAPIST ARRESTED

Zamfara State Nigeria, Sani Suleiman, a 14-year-bandit, was arrested by the operatives of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) in Kadege village, in Moriki Emirate, Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State.

A.A. Sparks., the NSCDC State commandant who revealed to the journalists on Wednesday pronounced the teenager is a rapist and also one of the infantry troopers of a bandit kingpin, Bello Turji.

Sparks said it was revealed from investigations that the teenager suspect was taught in the use of weapons by one Salihu Gang at the Sububu forest.

He pronounced that the boy admitted that he was involved in numerous cattle rustling, kidnapping activities and raping women brought to their camp.

Sparks said, “Salihu Gang is said to be a foot soldier of a notorious armed bandit known as (Bello) Turji that has been terrorising the entire northwest zone”.

Although, he had said there are still ongoing investigations and that the boy will be arraigned in court immediately after the investigation is completed.

“The men of the corps raided the illegal mining site in the early hours of Wednesday, 9th February, 2022, where about 9 bags of raw precious stones were confiscated by the corps special strike force and brought to the command”, said Sparks.

Sparks listed some exhibits they recovered from the site which included shovels, diggers and hammers.
