Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng Voted The Best Entertainment Pundit In Ghana
Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, spokesperson for 3Music Awards scheme and fierce entertainment pundit, has been voted the winner of National Entertainment Pundit Of The Year. At the Foklex Media Awards Held in Accra, Ghana.
The beautiful fearless Pundit who plied her trade in the male dominated industry, always bring to the discussion table a high level of positive contribution.
Vida Adutwumwaa Boateng, who has more than ten years experience in the frontline punditry in Radio and Television production in the country, was the most sought-after in the entertainment industry.
She beat the like of, Arnold Asamoah Baidoo, Fred Kyei Mensah, Kwesi Ernest, Sammy Rasta and five more strong contenders in the entertainment showbiz to win the award.
Ms Boateng in her acceptance speech plead to women to join the punditry fold to help shape the narrative in the showbiz industry. She added, although outnumbered by men, the few women in the business were making impactful strides that must be commended, She reiterated that there was room for more female voices on the issues pertaining to the creative & arts industry.
She also revealed that, she was inspired by one of Ghana Broadcasting Corporation ( GBC ) one of finest broadcasters in the 90s, Madam Vida Korenteng Asante a former TV personality and phenomenal broadcaster. After whom she was named by her mother.
The annually Foklex Media Awards who has been in existence since 2007, is organised by Foklex Media production and is structured to appreciate the hard work of media practitioners across the country.
