M N RidwanStan Xoese Dogbe, the Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations) at the Presidency, has issued a stern warning regarding a suspected fraudster, Samuel Tetteh, who is accused of impersonating him to secure contracts for printing and framing portraits of the president.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Dogbe distanced himself from the individual, urging the public to remain vigilant and report any interactions with Tetteh to the authorities.
According to Dogbe, Tetteh has been visiting various ministries, departments, and agencies, falsely claiming to represent him and demanding business deals under the guise of his authority.
The fraudster’s actions have raised concerns, prompting Dogbe to take immediate action by alerting the appropriate security authorities to ensure Tetteh’s swift arrest.
“I have been made aware of an individual named Samuel Tetteh, who has been approaching various government offices and using my name to demand contracts for the printing and framing of the president’s portrait,” Dogbe said in his statement.
“I have informed the relevant security authorities to ensure his swift arrest. If he approaches your office, please notify me or contact the nearest police station immediately.”
The Deputy Chief of Staff further emphasized the importance of staying alert to prevent such fraudulent activities from succeeding, urging anyone who encounters Tetteh to act promptly in reporting the incident.
Dogbe’s warning is a timely reminder of the importance of safeguarding against fraudulent activities, especially when individuals impersonate officials to exploit their positions for personal gain.
