Vice-President-elect of Ghana, Professor Jane Naana Opoku-Agyemang, has called on all Ghanaians to join forces as the work of rebuilding and improving the country begins.

Speaking on December 9, 2024, at a gathering at John Dramani Mahama’s residence, she stressed that the time for celebration was over, and it was now time to face the hard work ahead.

“The journey is over; the work is about to begin,” Prof. Opoku-Agyemang declared, with a tone of determination and optimism.

Her message was clear: the work of restoring Ghana to its rightful place as a beacon of progress must start immediately.

Reflecting on her nomination and the significance of her victory, the Vice-President-elect noted that her success was a win for all Ghanaians, particularly for the country’s youth, women, and daughters.
