Mahama Names Stan Dogbe and Nana Oye as Deputy Chiefs of Staff in Latest Appointments

President John Dramani Mahama has made significant new appointments within his administration, ushering in several key figures to prominent positions at the seat of government.

In a press release issued by Acting Spokesperson Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Mahama confirmed that Joyce Bawa Mogtari will continue in her role as aide and advisor to the president.

Among the notable new appointments, Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, who has previously been responsible for the President’s branding, has been named as the Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Operations.

Dogbe’s new role will likely bring a strong focus on optimizing the internal workings and operations within the presidency.

Nana Oye Bampo Addo will take on the role of Deputy Chief of Staff in charge of Administration.

With a background in administrative leadership, Nana Oye’s appointment signals a continued commitment to efficient and effective management within the government.

Other appointees announced include Seth Terkper, who will serve as the President’s advisor on the economy, a crucial role given the current economic challenges.

Prof. Francis Duodo has been appointed as an advisor on anti-corruption, underlining Mahama’s commitment to tackling corruption at all levels of governance.

Additionally, Larry Gbevlo Lartey has been appointed as special envoy to the Alliance of Sahalian States, an important diplomatic role for Ghana’s involvement in regional peace and security efforts. Prof. Kwaku Danso-Boafo will now serve as Cabinet Secretary.

Other new appointments include Shamima Muslim as Deputy Spokesperson, and Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Annag, who will serve as presidential staffers.

These appointments are expected to help strengthen Mahama’s administration, ensuring key areas such as operations, administration, and anti-corruption measures receive the attention needed to push forward the President’s goals.
