First Lady Proclaims Her Opposition To Homosexuality

According to First Lady Rachel Ruto of Kenya, homosexuality poses a threat to the institution of the family and has been condemned nationally.

During a church service on Sunday in Meru county, she said that:

“We want to strengthen the family institution where we have a father, a mother, and children. LGBTQ is forbidden even in the Bible and the African culture. Let us hold on to family values.”

Meanwhile, the First Lady had already established a Faith Diplomacy Office before this, which, according to her, will be promoting a culture of prayer throughout the nation.

Interestingly, She stated that a program has been developed “to ensure family values are safeguarded” and that the Faith Diplomacy Office will carry prayers to the rest of the nation.

“I would like us to pray on matters of family. The family has become an institution that has been very much attacked…” local media quoted the first lady.

To that effect, she advised Kenyans to pay greater attention to family issues because the family structure is being threatened by the LGBTQ discussion.
