The rapper, Shawn Corey Carter popularly known as JAY-Z, officially joined Instagram on Wednesday November 3 2021. The rapper then deleted his Instagram profile just a day after joining , when he had over 2 million followers in counting since joining the social media platform, Well that didn’t last long.
The first post he made, which he shared on his feed was a stories featured his new upcoming movie, ” The harder they fall”, which he produced. He posted on his feed the countdown of the movie which he said the movie has already started streaming on Netflix.
His wife, Beyoncé was the only person he followed on his platform. Beyoncé seemed to be happy with her husband’s arrival on Instagram as she reposted the movie’s countdown on her platform’s feed.
The harder they fall, an action-packed Western movie which features all-Black cast including, Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, Regina King, Delray Lindo and Lakeisha Stanfield.
JAY-Z said, ” I just love to be part of a project that opens up the lens”. JAY-Z also told ET’s Kevin Frazier at the premier of the movie at Los Angeles, “because once it’s widened for, then it’s widened for Asians, for Mexicans, for everyone”.

At the event, both Beyoncé and her mother were there with the rapper, and she told ET’s Kevin Frazier, ” We support each other . That’s what we do”.
As for what caused the deactivation of his Instagram account, an account which is only just 24 hours old with over 2 million followers, in counting.
That is multi million dollars question JAY-Z is yet to clarify.
