JACKIE APPIAH PERFECT BIRTHDAY GIFT TO DEPRIVED COMMUNITY IN NORTH

Ghanaian actress Jackie Appiah decided to celebrate her birthday with a less privileged community in the Tamale, the northern part of Ghana.

It has become usual things for Jackie Appiah to donate every year on her birthday, but this time, she had taken a very long journey to the northern part of the country, Tamale, to be specific, just to put smiles on the faces of some people.

The actress together with her team travelled to the Northern Region on Sunday, 5th December, 2021 to donate items to the people of Kogni M A Primary School in the Tamale.

She donated items like school uniforms, stationery, toiletries, and other assorted products.

She did not only donate these items, but she also presented to the community a newly constructed borehole to serve the community clean drinking water.

Jackie Appiah speaking at the commissioning of the borehole, said water is life so she came to the support of the people of Kogni when she was told the people of the community lacked such basic amenity.

According to the people of the community, they said the borehole came at the right time and has been the greatest Christmas present they have received this year.

The people of Kogni thanked actress Jackie Appiah and emphasized that she has solved one of their biggest problem they’ve been facing in the community, the availability of a clean drinking water.

Jackie Appiah was presented three guinea fowls and tubers of yam from the chief of the community as a sign of appreciation.
