It Is Not A Security Zone: Activist On Jubilee House Scandal

Published

on

According to New Patriotic Party (NPP) activist Mustapha Hameed, there is nothing improper about the Jubilee House being utilized as the backdrop for a music video.

He stated that the usage of the White House by rapper Meek Mill for a music video does not diminish or reduce the place’s standing in the eyes of the general public.

In addition, he refuted claims that the Jubilee House is a security zone, asserting unequivocally that such claims are untrue.

“We thank God that Meek Mill saw value in the Jubilee House, took photos and some short clips and added them to his freestyle video for the whole world to see the magnificence of such a beautiful edifice,” he iterated.

To that effect, Mustapha Hameed came to the conclusion that the complaints are tantamount to trying to make a mountain out of a mole hill or a hurricane in a teacup.

“There are people in this country who don’t see any value in that building, turned it into a warehouse at some point, and have promised to turn it into a poultry farm,”  he pointed out.

Background

Meek Mill was sighted using the façade and interior of the Jubilee House for his rap video in a now-viral video.

For permitting the film shoot to take place there, the Presidency has come under fire from many Ghanaians.

However, numerous NPP communicators and activists are working diligently to defend the situation.
