I Was Devastated When I heard the Rumours – Kidi

Kidi mentions how he wanted to take legal actions against bloggers who kept spreading rumours to the public he was down with stroke.

After Kidi cancelled his North America tour in March 2023, rumours circulated the he was down with stroke

and wanted to take legal actions against bloggers who shared such rumours about him.

In an interview on Hitz 103.9 FM with Andy Dosty, He stated that when he heard the rumours,

he was devastated which pushed him to reach his manager Richie.

He added that he was confused because Ghanaians go round raising and saying issues which they do not know about.

“I wanted to take legal actions but upon a lot of conversations,

I decided to not feed that energy into it too much and that we should just move on from it”.

He also disclosed how such rumours affected his family, himself, his brand and the people around him.

He shared that a lot of people especially his mother called him to find out if he was truly down with stroke.

Explaining the whole situation made me uncomfortable.

“It was uncomfortable to me, my family and everyone involved. In the span of like two minutes after seeing the news, my phone started to ring”.
