A Traditional herbalist identified as Nana Adu-Boafo Jnr. who base at Oyibi a suburb of Accra Ghana, has made the unthinkable after called in the police for the successful arrest of a father who brought his 11 – year – old – daughter to be kill for money rituals.

According to report sighted by znewgh.com, the man who’s name was given as Evans Oppong 42, a resident of Fise near Amasaman, intended to used two of his 12 children he fathered for money rituals after coming back from abroad, where he went to seek for greener pasture but life in abroad turnout to be very tough, hence his decision to use two of his children for money rituals.

But luck eluded the suspect, as the native priest he sought for help was an old soldier who claims to be a man of discipline, who in return quickly alerted the authority, and the man was picked up to assist the police with the investigation.

A statement signed by, Chief Supt. Grace Ansah-Akrofi, Director of Public Affairs read:

” POLICE ARREST BUSINESSMAN FOR ALLEGEDLY ATTEMPTING TO USE HIS DAUGHTER FOR RITUAL PURPOSES “

1. “The Police have arrested a 42-year-old businessman, Evans Oppong, a resident of Fise, near Amasaman for allegedly taking his 11-year-old daughter to a native priest at Oyibi Kom in Accra, for ritual purposes, yesterday Thursday, June 2, 2022.”

2. ” The suspect’s arrest followed information provided by a patriotic citizen to the Police, and we are grateful to him for his selfless service which has saved the life of the child involved.”

3. “The victim is currently in the safe custody of the Police while an effort is being made to reunite her with her mother and the rest of the family.
4. Meanwhile, the suspect is currently in Police custody assisting with the investigation.”
