Ghana Police Update, A notorious armed robber has been arrested on the 8th, January 2022. By the Special Anti-Robbery Squad and Surveillance Team, of the Upper East Regional Police command.
According to Police source, the notorious Robber whose name was confirmed as Abdulai Issaka Achalicaab, before he was arrest has been terrorising the good people of Sandema, Fumbisi and other surrounding enclaves.
The notorious Robber Abdulai Issaka Achalicaab through his activities, has been behind several series of robberies in the Region special Sandema and it environment, he is also on the Police wanted list for jumping bail in a robbery case pending Court ruling in Bolgatanga the Regional capital since 2020.
Another fact was established that, the suspect which is now been apprehended by the police, was responsible for another robbery in Kadema which occurred in July 24, 2021. In which a victim was severely wounded in the process.

He was in possession of three unregistered motorbikes, which the police believed was robbed from other victims, and used them for his robbery activities.

“Police Arrest Notorious Armed Robber for Series of Robberies in Sandema and its Environs
The Special Anti-Robbery Squad and Surveillance team of the Upper East Regional Police Command, through an intelligence-led operation, arrested Abdulai Issaka Achalicaab, a notorious armed robber at Sandema, yesterday, January 8, 2022.”
“Police reports show that Abdulai Issaka Achalicaab has been behind a series of robberies at Sandema, Fumbisi and other surrounding enclaves. He is also on the Police wanted list for jumping bail in a robbery case pending trial before a Court in Bolga since 2020.
Further details established that suspect is responsible for the robbery in Kadema which occurred on July 24, 2021, in which a victim was severely wounded.”
“During the special operation, the Police recovered from the suspect three unregistered motorbikes believed to have been robbed from others and used for his robbery expeditions.
We commend the Upper East Regional Police Command for their efforts in pursuing criminals in the region for the safety of the public.”
