M N RidwanAccording to the letter, the 2025 BECE will take place from 9–16 June 2025, while the WASSCE will be held between 4 August and 19 September 2025.
The letter, signed by Prince Charles Agyemang-Duah, the Director of the Schools and Instructions Division, called for timely preparations by all relevant stakeholders.
In the letter, GES urged Regional Directors to communicate these dates to Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Directors of Education, ensuring that heads of both basic and senior high schools are properly informed.
The GES also emphasized the importance of making necessary preparations to help students succeed during these crucial exams.
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) will also notify school heads in the coming weeks regarding the registration periods for both exams.
The GES has requested that all concerned parties take note of the dates and make the necessary arrangements to ensure smooth execution of the exams.
With these dates now set, students, teachers, and school administrators are encouraged to begin preparations for the examinations.
Both the BECE and WASSCE are pivotal milestones in the academic journeys of Ghanaian students, and the GES is urging everyone to work together to ensure that students are well-prepared for success.
