Ghanaian athlete,Benjamin Azamati has qualified for the Men’s 100m finals after finishing third.
Amzamti booked it to the final in the semi final heat with a time of 10.18s.
He made it the 100m final of the Commonwealth games on his first attempt.

Znewsgh.com earlier on reported that Benjamin Azamati booked his place in the semi-finals of the Men’s 100m race at the ongoing Commonwealth Games after coming first in heat 7.
He finished first in the heats with a time of 10.19 sub-seconds to qualify for the semis in the Men’s 100m dash.
Azamati overcomed a tough competition from Welsh athlete Jeremiah Azu and Bangladesh runner I. Rahman who finished second and third respectively.
Azamati’s time of 10.19 sub-seconds was below what he did at the 2022 World Athletics Championships where he finished the heats at a time of 10.189 sub-seconds and still failed to progress to the next round.

Meanwhile, sprinter, Sean Safo-Antwi has advanced to the semi-finals of the men’s 100m race.
The 31-year-old ran a time of 10.33s and finished fourth in Heat 10 of the men’s 100m race.
