One of NDC’s high-ranking officials, John Mahama, who was then president, had one of his ministers reimburse his hospital bills right away.

The former president also promised Wayoosi that he would fly the veteran kumawood actor out of the country for a kidney transplant if he didn’t get better.

In an interview on Youtube, Wayoosi also criticised those who take advantage of his gratitude to former president John Dramani Mahama to politicise him.

The actor felt that it was hypocritical for people to take advantage of his unique connection with John Mahama to politicize it and that, regardless of their political affiliation, people would be happy to seek their help.

Meanwhile, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, the founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, said on Saturday that he plans to speak out about how President Akufo-Addo came to lead Ghana, citing hypocrisies as his reason.

President Nana Akufo-Addo called Rev. Owusu Bempah to wish him well on his birthday last week, and he reportedly did so.

The controversial man of God, who delivered a sermon over the weekend, condemned the President Akufo-Addo and Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia for conspiring with the IGP to have him arrested and humiliated.

He narrated, “Afterwards, you call wishing me a happy birthday. You know what…. All your promises you failed to fulfil, yet you allow for me to be arrested despite being the one at the receiving end of abuse and hurled before the court… I was sent to Police hospital and while a drip was on me in a bed, I was handcuffed to the bed in the name of order from above. Akufo-Addo and Bawumia were in the know and Dampare was doing such things.”
