According to El Periodico, the two have grown apart over recent years, particularly due to Guardiola’s demanding managerial roles across different countries.

The couple first met in 1994 and enjoyed a long relationship before their marriage in Barcelona, where they share three children: Maria, 24, Marius, 22, and Valentina, 17.

While Guardiola continues to live in Manchester as he oversees Manchester City’s high-profile campaigns, Serra, a Brazilian journalist, has resided in Barcelona with their youngest daughter, Valentina.

Despite the separation, the family reportedly spent Christmas together, emphasizing their continued bond despite the changes.

Serra, who had relocated to Manchester in 2019 to support her husband’s career, has since pursued a professional path in the fashion industry with her family’s company, Serra Claret.

Guardiola, meanwhile, has remained focused on his role at Manchester City, where his contract was extended through 2027 in November 2024, despite growing speculation about his future with the club.
