Ralf Rangnick, the head of sports and development at Lokomotiv Moscow, will have to leave his duty to take up the role of Michael Carrick who is temporary in charge of the Manchester United team and is expected to guide the team against Chelsea in Sunday.
Ralf Rangnick is close to completing a deal to becoming the new manager for Manchester United until the end of the season.
According to an ongoing discussion, a deal has been made to see Rangnick remain at the club for two years, beyond the end of the current season in a consultancy role.
Rangnick is the manager for sports and development for Lokomotiv Moscow. He is one of the respected names in German football.
Manchester United still remain in talks with Lokomotiv Moscow over an agreement to release Rangnick.
As at the moment, Carrick is still expected to take charge of the Premier League game at Chelsea on Sunday, November 28. As United conduct a detailed procedure to appoint an interim boss after Ole was sacked, Carrick has been placed in a temporary position to manage the team.
Ernesto Valverde (former Barcelona head coach) and Rudi Garcia (former Lyon head coach) had also been observed for the interim role.
Manchester United are making arrangements to appoint a permanent manager at the end of the season as Mauricio Pochettino Paris Saint-Germain boss) is their first choice and also, the Ajax head coach also in their thinking.
