JUST IN: Bayern Munich And Liverpool Reach Agreement For Sadio Mane Move

German club, Bayen Munich has finally reached an agreement with Liverpool for the transfer of Sadio Mane.

Bayern Munich submitted an improved bid of a 41m euro (£35.1m) to seal a deal with the Reds.

The 2021/22 Bundes Liga Champions will pay a fixed 32m euros (£27.4m) to Liverpool with an additional 6m euros based on appearances and 3m euros based on individual and team achievements.

Transfer guru and Italian sports journalist, Fabrizio Romano took to his Twitter page to break the news of the Senegalese forward move to Bayern Munich.

According to him, Sadio Mane will undergo a medical at Bayern in German on Tuesday adding that his paperworks have already been completed.

Liverpool turned down two bids from Bayern before accepting their latest offer for the 30-year-old, whose deal with the Reds ran until next summer.

The Senegalese international joined Liverpool from Southampton in 2016 for £31m plus £2.5m in add-ons.

Mane went on to become an influential player of Jurgen Klopp’s team which won the 2019 UEFA Champions League, later won the English Premier, he has scored 90 Premier League goals for the Anfield club and finished last season with 23 goals in all competitions.

News of his departure follows Tuesday’s signing of Uruguay forward Darwin Nunez from Benfica for an initial £64m.
