The Ghanaian comedian and teacher, born Michael Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie has lamented the poor governance he is currently witnessing in the country.
Teacher Kwadwo says President Nana Akufo-Addo-led government is disappointing.

However, he noted that he has no regrets about backing the NPP government during the 2016 elections.
He responded to Briget Otoo’s question: “No, no, no. It’s already done so why should I regret it?
“Whether regret or not, it is already done, so let’s look at the way forward. I am just sad how it has become because this is not what I was expecting. It is just very sad,” he stressed.
Speaking on the Free SHS policy, he said the implementation has been poorly done, he then called the government for the lack of textbooks and poor infrastructure in parts of the country.
In 2021, the Ghana Education Service issued a sack letter to Teacher Kwadwo citing gross insubordination among other charges, several critics said the popular teacher who advocated for teaching professionals and students was booted out for his activism.
Recently, Teacher Kwadwo exposed the GES over a school building meant for pupils of Kofi Gyae Me Primary School which has been occupied by staff of the forestry commission with some rooms locked up.
In the viral video, the headmaster of the school was seen sitting outside as the comedian noted that that place was his office.
Teacher Kwadwo is heard furiously condemning how the building was not being used for its original purpose.
“This is the room which is supposed to be the headmaster’s office, it is locked. This is also another room which is supposed to be a classroom for the children but right now, they have given it out to the Forestry Commission workers and now look at the kind of structure the children are learning under,” he lamented in the video on Friday, June 17, 2022.
