M N RidwanSamuel Inkoom, a former player of Ghana’s national football team, the Black Stars, has been granted bail in the amount of GHC100,000.00 with two sureties following allegations of visa fraud.
The case, which has attracted significant attention, is still under legal review.
The bail conditions were set by Judge Susana Eduful, who also mandated that each of Inkoom’s sureties must earn a minimum of GHC5,000.00.
Additionally, Inkoom was required to submit a passport-sized photograph to the court’s registry as part of the bail process.
Inkoom faces accusations of taking USD4,000 from Madam Elizabeth Atarime Mboh Awuni, claiming he could secure a U.S. travel visa for her client, a service he allegedly failed to deliver.
Inkoom, however, has denied all charges and maintains his innocence.
The case is ongoing, and Inkoom will return to court for further legal proceedings. As the situation unfolds, the former Black Stars defender’s legal team will work to address the allegations in court.
This incident has drawn significant attention given Inkoom’s high profile in Ghanaian football, both in domestic leagues and during his time with the national team.
The public will be watching closely as the case progresses.
