By the MTV Africa awards in 2015, the P-Square were named artist of the decade.
For the P-Square making a song together after the long-time quarrel has not been confirmed but for the fans who have been honouring the reunion clearly want that to be the case.
The fans are hoping for more hits like Chop my money, bizzy body and more which propelled the stardom of the duo across the continent and beyond.
The cause of their differences, between the brothers were never made public, yet efforts were made bringing them together by involving religious leaders, politicians and other celebrities.
Since the split, several posts they shared on social media hinted the quarrel involved their older brother, who was their manager and their wives.
Still in an Instagram message on Thursday, 18th of November, the twin brothers said “2 heads are better than 1”.
There have already been hints that they may come together since they followed each other on Instagram. Then on Wednesday, a video of them embracing each other went viral on social media.
They both went on to start single-handed careers as Mr. P (Peter) and RUDEBOY (Paul) but neither of them got to the level of success they achieved as P-Square.
As twins, they were the first groups to export afrobeat to other parts of the continent and also dominated the Nigerian music sections for years.
Their performance were enhanced by their energetic break-dancing routines.
They also had amazing collaborations with Tanzania’s Diamond Platinumz and American superstar Akon.
