Agradaa Makes U-Turn: Celebrates Mahama’s Win After Predicting Bawumia’s Victory

Controversial evangelist Patricia Oduro Asiedua, better known as Nana Agradaa, has once again captured the public’s attention—but this time for a surprising twist in her political predictions.

The self-styled woman of God, who had previously prophesied a victory for Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in Ghana’s 2024 presidential elections, has now found herself celebrating John Mahama’s triumph instead.

In a viral video that has quickly made the rounds on social media, Agradaa is seen hosting a vibrant Thanksgiving service at her church.

She and her congregation danced joyously, waved NDC flags, and thanked God for what they deemed “an answered prayer,” celebrating Mahama’s win.

But it wasn’t long before netizens called out Agradaa, reminding her of her earlier prophecy in which she declared Bawumia the winner.

Many pointed out the glaring contradiction, especially since Agradaa had promised to return to her shrine as a chief priestess if her prophecy didn’t come to pass.

To add fuel to the fire, Agradaa took a moment during the service to praise Dr. Bawumia for his grace in conceding defeat.

However, she couldn’t help but express her frustration over his attire during the campaign, mentioning that Bawumia ignored her “prophetic advice” about his wardrobe choices.

“Bawumia wore blue, and I complained to my husband about that. Even on voting day, he wore a white top and black trousers.

Meanwhile, Mahama wore white!” She lamented, clearly still holding onto the matter.

Agradaa also voiced her displeasure about how people continue to disregard her prophecies, largely due to her past as a fetish priestess.

“When I prophesy or give a direction, people disregard it because they still have this perception that I was a chief priestess,” she cried out.

Her dramatic shift from backing Bawumia to celebrating Mahama’s victory has left many Ghanaians buzzing.

While some are critical of her flip-flopping, others are fascinated by how Agradaa continues to keep herself in the spotlight despite the controversy surrounding her predictions.

Regardless of the backlash, she has certainly managed to stay relevant and keep the conversation going.
